There’s room in a Tijuana trip for a slower morning.

Before the shopping, sightseeing or long lunch, you could take a yoga class. Bring a friend, go on your own or make it something you try while you’re in town.

These three Tijuana yoga studios give you a few different options. Choose a neighborhood that fits your plans, check the schedule and leave yourself enough time to arrive without rushing.

1. Jivamukti Yoga Tijuana — La Cacho

If you’re spending time around La Cacho, Jivamukti Yoga Tijuana is worth a look.

The school lists several classes, including Basics, beginner Vinyasa and Restore & Renew. That gives you room to choose the kind of practice you want rather than signing up for the first available time.

New to yoga? Read the descriptions and ask which session would be a good introduction. Already have a regular practice? Explore the Open and Spiritual Warrior options.

Booking: Single classes are available, and the studio asks students to register online before attending. Check current prices and availability on its class purchase page.

Find it: Avenida Guanajuato 2365, Local L, Colonia Madero, commonly known as La Cacho.

2. Radiant Light Yogi Studio — Hipódromo Dos

Radiant offers a broad mix of classes, including Slow Yoga, Vinyasa and aerial yoga.

Its approach welcomes people with different levels of experience, so you don’t need to arrive knowing every pose. Tell the team what you’re looking for—something slower, a more active class or a first visit—and let them help you choose.

If aerial yoga catches your attention, ask about that class specifically before booking. The preparation may differ from a regular mat session.

Booking: Use the studio’s schedule and reservation links, or contact the team about an introductory class. Radiant recommends bringing your own mat and says it can lend one for a first visit if needed.

Find it: Calle Uno 101, Hipódromo Dos, inside Geeks Academy.

3. Wellnest Pilates & Yoga Studio — Gabilondo

Wellnest brings yoga and Reformer Pilates together in its Gabilondo studio.

For this visit, look at the yoga offerings: the studio lists Ashtanga Multinivel, Ashtanga Core and Yoga Wall. Its website welcomes different experience levels, but it’s still worth asking which class fits what you have in mind.

The Yoga Wall option may be interesting if you’d like to try a class that uses wall-mounted support. Ask the studio what to expect and what equipment is provided.

Booking: Follow the reservation link on Wellnest’s website to its Mindbody booking page. If you’re visiting briefly, confirm the single-session options before purchasing.

Find it: Calle 16 de Septiembre 3078-C2-8, Colonia Gabilondo.

A Few Things to Check Before Class

Ask about the teaching language, available mats and props, and how early to arrive. Wear something comfortable and bring water.

A blanket can be useful for seated support or the resting portion if your instructor suggests it. Check what the studio supplies before filling your bag.

Afterward, leave a little time for breakfast or coffee. Our Tijuana restaurant guide has ideas for another meal, and our Tijuana activities guide can help with the rest of your visit.

One class, a good meal and an afternoon without too many plans sounds pretty nice.

Don’t Forget to Bring a Blanket!
