A good Ensenada getaway leaves room for a slow morning. Grab a coffee, take a yoga class, and figure out lunch afterward.

Whether you practice regularly or haven’t touched your mat in months, these spots give you a few ways to work yoga into your visit.

1. Shanti Yoga — Zona Centro

Staying near downtown? Start with Shanti Yoga.

The studio’s published offerings range from Gentle Yoga and restorative classes to more active Vinyasa and Ashtanga sessions. You can choose something mellow or make a little more room for movement.

If you’re new, ask which class would make a comfortable introduction. There’s no need to pick the toughest-sounding option just because it fits between breakfast and checkout.

Find it: Ryerson 1023, at Calle 10, Zona Centro.

Before you go: Shanti’s website says advance reservations aren’t required. Check its schedule for class descriptions and confirm the latest times before visiting.

2. Yogui Shala Wellness — Zona Centro

Yogui Shala Wellness, also known as La Casa del Yogui, is another downtown option, created by yoga teacher Romina Martínez.

Its website lists group and private sessions, with practices including Hatha, Yin and restorative yoga. If you’d rather have individual guidance, ask about arranging a private class during your stay.

Find it: Avenida Ruiz 962, Local 12, Zona Centro, according to the studio’s contact page.

Before you go: Contact the studio to confirm current classes, single-visit prices and availability. Its first-visit guidance recommends bringing your mat and arriving 15 minutes early.

3. A Valle Side Trip: Luna de Sol

Already planning some time in Valle de Guadalupe? Luna de Sol gives you another reason to leave the morning open.

This yoga and wellness space is in Francisco Zarco, outside central Ensenada. Make it part of your Valle plans rather than squeezing it between stops downtown.

The studio lists Saturday and Sunday classes at 10 a.m., along with private yoga sessions. Reservations are required: Luna de Sol specifically asks guests to book so it can confirm both the class and their space.

Find it: Privada de los Ranchos 1, Parcela 7, Francisco Zarco.

Booking: Check Luna de Sol’s yoga page and contact the team before making the drive.

Keep the Rest of the Day Easy

Bring water, comfortable clothes and your yoga mat. Ask about the teaching language and available props when choosing your class.

A blanket can be handy for the resting portion if your instructor suggests it—especially when you’re settling in after moving around.

Afterward, there’s no hurry. Find something good to eat in our Ensenada restaurant guide, or pick another relaxed stop from our things to do in Ensenada.

Stretch a little, eat something good, and enjoy having nowhere urgent to be.

Don’t Forget to Bring a Blanket!
